Our Physician-Approved Process
Fore follows every necessary guideline to ensure your child's genetic health screen is physician-approved and your results are approved for clinical use with your pediatrician and providers.
How It Works
After placing your order, you’ll be invited to our secure online portal, where you will provide additional information for our doctors to review and confirm you are eligible for the genetic health screening.
After completing enrollment and getting approval from our doctors, you’ll be invited to set up a virtual pre-screening genetic consultation. This ensures you’re fully informed before proceeding.
A sample collection kit with simple instructions for a cheek swab will arrive in the mail. It’s quick, noninvasive, and painless. Return the kit to our lab using the provided mailer. Once your sample arrives, we’ll notify you that testing is underway. Our labs take up to four weeks to process. Once completed, a clinical report will be available within the app.
After screening, you’ll be notified to schedule a non-charge results consultation with our genetic counselors. This is a chance to understand your child’s report and ask any questions. You can share notes from this call with your pediatrician and invite them to make future calls if needed.
After receiving your report, our support hasn’t ended. Maintain access to our secure online portal and receive ongoing education about health conditions relevant to your child and family. Easily share reports and notes with your doctor from our app.
