How It Works

Step 1: Order Collection Kit & Get Started

After placing your order, you’ll be invited to our secure online portal, where you will provide additional information for our doctors to review.

Step 2: Pre-screen Genetic Counseling

After completing enrollment you’ll be invited to schedule a virtual pre-screen consultation with one of our board certified Genetic Counselors.

Step 3: Provide a Sample

A sample collection kit with simple instructions for a painless cheek swab will arrive in the mail. Return your child’s sample to our CLIA/CAP accredited lab using the provided pre-paid packaging. Once your sample arrives we’ll notify you that testing is underway. Results are typically available in ~4 weeks, delivered through our secure app.

Step 4: Schedule a Virtual Genetic Counseling Appointment

Once results are available you’ll be invited to schedule a results consultation with your Genetic Counselor. During this call our Genetic Counselor will review results, present a clinical action plan, and address any questions or concerns you may have.

Step 5: Continued support and education for parents and physicians

With Fore, support doesn’t stop after a consultation with our Genetic Counselors. You’ll have ongoing access to our online portal, packed with easy-to-understand resources tailored to your child’s unique needs.
